"The Adventures of Khadra", Puppet Play, al-Kasaba
Taken in 2003, this colour photograph captures a freeze of al-Kasaba Theatre and Cinematheque's puppet show, "The Adventures of Khadra". Written by Kamel el-Basha and directed by George Ibrahim, the play ran in several schools across the occupied West Bank, featuring a cast, including Husam abu ʿaysha, Durin Munir, and Raja’y Ṣanduqa. The background music and songs were composed by Jamil as-Sayeh performed by Rim Talhamy and as-Sayeh.
