A Photograph of "Az-Zawiya ash-Sharqiyya", Nuba, Hebron
A colour photograph of Az-Zawiya ash-Sharqiyya in the eastern part of Nuba village. It was built by shaikh Hasan Hsain Amr but was destroyed later on. Shaikh Khair ad-Din ash-Sharif rebuilt Az-Zawiya but it was destroyed again. Later, shaikh Muhammad Husny ad-Din al-Qasmy rebuilt it in AD 1933/ AH 1352. Az-Zawiya was kept as it is until shaikh Yasin bin Muhammad Husny ad-Din al-Qasmy tore it down, purchased the house of Mahmud Ibrahim Salem ash-Shruf (Nuba's mukhtar) and rebuilt Az-Zawiya again where it stood until 1974. Finally, it was rebuilt again in 2006.
