A paper clipping documenting the Hebrew spelling of "Nir-Akiva", an Israeli colony established on the depopulated village of Kawfakha east of Gaza. The name literally means Akiva's meadow, who was the Head of the Jewish Agency Colonies Department.  As for the village of Kawfakha, it was occupied and depopulated in May 1948.
