Salfit Village Council, Minutes of Meeting no. 1, 10 April 1947
This document contains the minutes of the 1st session of the Salfit Village Council held on 10 April 1947, clarifying the regulations and laws placed on revenues and taxes in the budget. The Council began preparing the budget; it was decided to collect a tax from the ration cardholders and remove the soul tax, to collect a tax of one pound for the project of works and roads, and increase the fees on oil pressing in order to purchase a water motor for the water project at the village.
