Salfit Village Council, Minutes of Meeting no. 2, 26 April 1947
This document contains the minutes of the 2nd session of the Salfit Village Council held on 26 April 1947. With the presence of Salfit's Administrative Governor, the Council discussed the subject of the budget and decided to bring back the soul tax on owners. The Council decided to impose a fruit tax of 2% as estimated by a guessing committee in which the Council takes part. A rent tax has also been imposed on the owners of leased properties.
