The Continuation of the Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 19 June 1946
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday 19 June 1946, where he mentioned his son Sari visiting the American Consul, who praised Sari's detailed report regarding the American English Committee. On the same page, he wrote his diary on Thursday 20 June 1946, where he documented listening to the news of Hajj Amin al-Husseini's immigration to the ruling family in Egypt, but the feeling of worry did not leave Sakakini, where he would rather Haj Amin al-Husseini ask for refuge in Hijaz, which he considered more secure than Egypt.
