"Night Lover", a Poem by Saadeh Bsoul
Titled "Asheq al-Layl (Night Lover)", this document shows a poem by Saadeh Bsoul dedicated to his beloved, Hanan Elias Abdo from Nazareth, whom he met during high school but did not marry her because she was Christian. Bsoul compares his beloved to the night wondering where his crescent disappeared, then he says that she is an impeccable moon describing her high morals and beautiful eyes. Bsoul also continues his poem on the back of the page inviting his beloved to spend the evening and dance.
