"For the Silent-Eyed", a Poem by Saadeh Bsoul
Titled "Li-That al-Oyoun as-Samita (For the Silent-Eyed)", this document shows a poem handwritten by Saadeh Bsoul and dedicated to his beloved, Hanan Elias Abdo from Nazareth, whom he met during high school but did not marry her because she was Christian. In this poem, Bsoul draws eyes and describes his beloved's eyes, from which he can read a lot, then he writes "Habibati (My Lover)" and he tells her not to hide secrets, not to grieve, and to live her life happily.
