A Letter to Sharif Masarweh and his Wife Rabea from Abed al-Karim Bittar, 29 June 1976

This archival item documents a handwritten letter to Sharif Masarweh and his wife Rabea from her brother Abed al-Karim Bittar in Abu Dhabi sent on 29 June 1976, in the beginning of the letter he informs them that Ahmad and his wife are to arrive in August 1976, Rasmi and his wife also send their regards and he will be travelling from Abu Dhabi on 30 June 1976 to Amman, therefore, he sent a cheque of 150 JD's in the name of his father to his family, he also sends his congrats on the birth of new baby daughter Taghreed, and requests from his sisters to kiss the hands of his parents on his behalf and he always remembers them and wants nothing but to see them happy, he also informs his sister that he sent a letter to his parents along with Naeem Ammar from Qaffin and place it at the bridge, attached to the letter is 100 JD's; 50 of which are for his parents, 10 for Umm Saeed, 10 for Inshirah so that she can buy the pair of glasses he promised her, 10 for Aisha, 10 fro Rabea, and 10 for the new baby daughter "Tgahreed" and concludes by sending his greetings to the family.
