A Letter to Sharif Masarweh and his Wife Rabea from Abd al-Karom Bittar, 18 October 1975

This archival item documents a handwritten letter to Sharif Masarweh and his wife Rabea from her brother sent on 18 October 1975, where he sends his greetings, expresses how he wants to see them, comforts them that he is doing well, wants nothing but to see the family, and congratulates them in their marriage, wishes them a life of joy and tranquillity and then informs his sister that he travelled to Saudi Arabia, al-Sham, and to al-Kuwait where he left to Abu Dhabi on 12 September 1975; where he spent two weeks at Mr Rasmi's while looking for a proper place of living until he was able to along with other three Palestinian young men, he also started working at a school since 1 October 1975 and it is a secondary school where he teaches Science, he also speaks of the weather of Abu Dhabi; where it is very hot and humid, and by the end of the letter he sends his greetings to Abu Sharif, Umm Sharif and to all the family in Baqa al-Gharbiyye.
