The Will of Sharif Masarweh, 12 February 2001

This archival item documents the will of Sharif Masarweh from Baqa al Gharbiyya which was issued on 12 February 2001 for his sons and daughters, with the affirmation of Omar Yousif Masarweh, Omar Sharif Ahmad Bittar Masarweh and Afif Ahmad.  The will featured that if he is to be buried in Baqa al-Gharbiyye there shall be no loud voices, weeping, mourning or slapping the face, there shall be no condolences after three days of his death, the funeral is to be silent, he shall be prepared and washed fastly, all rights are to be returned for their keepers so as his rights where he works and kept for his wife, sons and daughters, some of his money shall be taken for people in need and the Faculty of Quran and Islamic Studies, and asks his children to pray for him and seek the forgiveness of God on his behalf, and he is innocent from any religion that goes against Islam.
