Palestine's Map of Partition, a Paper Clipping, 1948
Issued in 1948, this document shows a paper clipping of a newspaper issued in Palestine enclosing a drawing of Palestine's map of partition according to the "United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine" - Resolution 181 which was issued on 29 November 1947. The back face of the clipping features the latest news on the battles between the Arab Liberation Army and the Zionist gangs in addition to the battles occurring near the city of Jerusalem and the battles of the abandoned village of Marus - District of Safad, moreover, the newspaper enclosed a news piece on the petrol crisis in Iran.
