A Land Sale and Exchange Deed Between Ishaq Touma and Jeries al-Masu, 26 Apil 1869
Issued on 26 April 1869, this document shows a land sale and exchange deed of an olive-planted farm in Beit Jala between Pastor Ishaq Touma and Jeries al-Masu. The exchange of lands included a plot from Maris al-Gharib taken by al-Masu from Pastor Ishaq Touma in addition to a rough plot located in the upper side of the land and some olive trees. The Pastor paid 65 pennies as a continuation of the land's price and it is worth mentioning that this deed was witnessed by nine people and signed by Pastor Ishaq Touma and Jeries al-Masu.
