A Letter from Pastor Jeries Ishaq Touqa, Casablanca, 17 April 1929
Sent on 17 April 1929, this document shows a letter sent from Morocco's capital (Casablanca) to Pastor Ishaq Jeries Touma. The sender mentions that the pastor's brother had caused a fire in a town called Limakah, got severe burnings and was in need of treatment, and then was sentenced to 5 years in prison. The sender explains to the pastor that his brother doesn't like to work, so he asks him to send some money to pay his brother's bail.
