Ottoman Notice of Payment of Property Tax to Samaan Ishaq, 1913
Issued by the property tax from the tax book in the Sanjak (District) of Jerusalem, this Ottoman notification to pay a property tax is in the name of Samaan Ishaqfrom the town of Beit Jala, Jerusalem District, to pay the property tax for the year 1331 AH, corresponding to 1913 AD, where the required tax amounted to 46 piasters and 25 Turkish para, which is equivalent to 45 piasters and 15 Egyptian mils, and the notice contained the signature and stamp of the collector.
