The Minutes of Sessions No. 271 and 272 of the Salfit Municipal Council, May 1959

Handwritten on 10 and 18 May 1959, this document shows the minutes of sessions No. 271 and 272, convened by the Salfit Municipal Committee on these dates. During these sessions, the Committee made several decisions, including rejecting the application submitted by the residents of the ad-Dour neighbourhood for the construction of a water cistern and the extension of water pipelines to the neighbourhood, purchasing and presenting a decorative goblet to the Ministry of Education as a contribution from the Municipality in the sports festival, and disbursing the sum of one and a half dinars to the agent of ad-Difaa Newspaper for publishing a statement expressing gratitude on the occasion of the return of Hussein bil Talal, King of Jordan, from overseas.
