show more show lessSaji Khalil, the owner of the collection, was interested in gathering photographs, documents, and video recordings that show an example of the lives of his parents, Salameh and Samiha Khalil. The collection focuses more on presenting part of the history of Salameh Khalil through photographs and documents about his studies in the Arab College and his work as a teacher and then as a principal during the Mandatory Government of Palestine in the city of Majdal until 1948. The documents varied, clarifying the role that Salameh Khalil played in the educational process and presenting a model of family life through photographs and letters. The video recordings show activities related to the work of Samiha al-Qabaj, "Samiha Khalil" in the Inash Al Usra Association, and her political, feminist and social activism as one of the pioneers of national and social work in Palestine. Other items are specific to Saji Khalil himself.
