Welcome to the palarchive.org website (“Site”) operated by the Palestinian Museum (“Museum,” “we,” “our”, or “us”). Please read carefully these Terms of Use, which include our Privacy Policy (collectively as “Terms”). By visiting our Site, you agree to be legally bound by and comply with our Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to revise these Terms from time to time without notice. Copyright/Permissions

All content of this Site is copyrighted either by the Museum or by third parties who have granted permission for their materials to be included on this Site. The content of this Site is available solely for personal, education, non-commercial use only, or for fair use as defined in the United States copyright laws. All other use without explicit permission is strictly prohibited. The Palestinian Museum expressly prohibits the use, downloading, copying, display, publication, distribution, transmission, modification, reposting, or exploitation for commercial or public purposes of the Protected Content. Users must abide by all copyright notices and restrictions and include all copyright, trademark, credit, author and source of the content as they would material from any printed work, and the citations should include the URL palestinianmuseum.org and palarchive.org or any other URL operated by the Museum.
The content of the Site “Public Domain” (PD) consists of images of works from the Museum’s permanent collection that are currently available in “high resolution” format and that the Museum believes are in the public domain. The Museum provides high-resolution images of these works free of charge for immediate download. The Museum does not warrant that the sharing or other use of this content will not infringe upon the rights of third parties holding rights to these works, including rights other than copyright, such as rights of privacy and publicity. It is your responsibility to determine and satisfy copyright and other use restrictions before downloading, copying, transmitting, publishing, or making any other use of these items.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers without delay.

You may use these third-party trademarks only with the prior permission of the owner of the trademark.

The information published on the Site includes content and material belonging to the Museum and/or anyone working on its behalf and/or third parties connected to the Museum. You thereby declare that you do not and will not have any rights of any kind with respect to this content and material, and you agree to this and commit to having no right to make any use and/or copy and/or distribute and/or duplicate any information, content, materials, or pictures protected by copyright, trademark, or any information contained on the Site without prior permission in writing from a person suitably qualified at the Museum.

Our Site has been developed with attention to the World Wide Consortium’s web accessibility initiative so that our Site will be available to a broader audience.
