BIOGRAPHY

The Palestinian Folkloric Narrative Project was launched by Taawon (Welfare Association) in 2021, funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. It aims to document and revive stories and folkloric tales linked to Palestinian archaeological sites, contributing to the construction of a collective Palestinian narrative rooted in oral traditions passed down through generations. This narrative reflects the historical and geographical continuity of the Palestinian cause and its lasting impact on the Palestinian people. The project integrates core narrative elements with heritage sites and disseminates them through engaging multimedia formats designed for children and youth. It has supported five initiatives implemented by five Palestinian cultural institutions.
