A Palestinian director, producer, author, researcher, and documentary screenwriter, Nizar Hassan was born in the village of al-Mashhad in the Nazareth district. He began working in the field of documentary filmmaking in 1990 and has directed several documentaries, including "Independence", "Kalimat", "Sidi’s Way", among others.

This collection includes a number of important documents from the Ottoman and British Mandate periods related to the city of Haifa. They pertain to the activities of the Muslim Youth Association and to Rashid al-Hajj Ibrahim, who is considered one of the city’s prominent figures.;
