Tiraz: Widad Kawar Home for Arab Dress was established in Amman in 2010. It contains over 3,000 traditional garments and textiles from Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and other Arab countries. The centre aims to preserve Arab cultural heritage and promote its understanding through exhibitions and educational activities.

This collection includes photographs from Tiraz’s archive, such as images of Mrs Widad Kawar during her fieldwork in Palestinian refugee camps in Amman, where she collected and documented information about traditional dresses. It also features photographs from exhibitions and events organised by the centre, as well as images of its visitors.
