As-Sanabil Center for Studies and Popular Heritage was established by Idris Jaradat to document folklore in all its aspects in 1994. It serves as a research centre accredited by the National Commission for Education, Culture and Science and specializes in conducting educational and social studies, academic surveys, public opinion polls and economic feasibility. It aims to spread knowledge to serve the community and preserve its heritage and past.

The as-Sanabil Center for Studies and Popular Heritage Collection includes photographs of heritage pieces, furniture, musical instruments, and inscriptions on stone and coins. The collection also includes photographs, caricatures and paintings. In addition, it consists of the archive of prisoners, such as capsules and pamphlets issued by the Political Studies Committee of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement- Fateh inside the Israeli Occupation prisons, dating back to the 1980s, as well as documents related to reconciliation and clan-mediated community peace.
