Farid Shehadeh hails from Kalandia Palestinian refugee camp. He joined the al-Husseini Camp Volleyball Team in the camp in the 1960s. He took several courses with the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) as well as with the Kalandia Institute.

The Farid Shehada Collection documents his portraits and photographs of him as a player in al-Hussein Camp Volleyball Team in Kalandia Palestinian refugee camp. It documents his work in the Workers and Public Institutions Union and includes photographs of some of his family members.
