Othman Ismir is a Palestinian from the village of Aqraba. He worked as an officer in the Trans-Jordan frontier Force (the Red Belt) of the British Mandate Forces.

The Othman Ismir Collection documents photographs of him and several of his companions during their work in the Trans-Jordan frontier Force (the Red Belt) in the 1930s and 1940s.The collection is owned by Palestinian storyteller and researcher Hamzeh Al-Aqrabawi.
