Samia Bamia is one of the main cadres in building the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Women's Affairs. She is a member of the Central Movement Office for Women and a member of the General Secretariat of the General Union of Palestinian Women. She previously served as a member of the Women's Affairs Staff and represented Palestine in many international conferences.

The Samia Bamia Collection contains personal photographs of herself and her family, which document her life in Beirut and her work in the Women's Union. It also contains documents such as newspaper clippings, official letters, and appointment decisions.
