Coming from Farkha village, located in the Salfit district, Qassem Damdoom was a poet and a folk physician. He also had interests in decoding magic and treatment with the Holy Qur’an.
show more show lessThis collection features the personal papers of Qassem Damdoom, who was interested in writing poetry and recording events, and his interest in treatment with folk recipes and the Qur’an. It contains a personal card dating back to the British Mandatory period, two notebooks on which Damdoom handwrote notes documenting the events of his village, Farkha, as well as other events that occurred during the 1930s, in addition to some folklore poems and recipes for treatment and decoding magic.
