Born in 1948, Georgette Khoury Qissisyeh comes from Ramla city. She was forcibly displaced with her family to the town of Birzeit, located in Ramallah distrct, where they resided. She studied and graduated from at Birzeit College, then worked as a teacher at the Saint Joseph School.

DESCRIPTION

This is a collection that contains several documents and photographs focusing on two main areas. The first area, which is concerned with Georgette Khoury's father (Nabil Qissisyeh), includes documents about his work in mechanical engineering and the letters he sent from the Arab prisoners' detention centre during the 1948 Nakba. The second area, which is related to Georgette Khoury,  documents, through photographs, her studies at Birzeit School and College, as she was one of the first students to graduate from Birzeit College when it was established.
