Born in Nablus in 1925, Badawi Ata Tammam worked in the field of journalism, and at the age of sixteen, he worked as a correspondent for the an-Nil al-Masry Magazine and an editor for local news in Aleppo-based al-Shabab Newspaper. He worked in the field of journalism until now, including as a correspondent for the Jerusalimite Asha'b Newspaper. He is one of the founders of the Newspaper Editors Syndicate in Aleppo and served as a member of its Administrative Board more than once. He founded the second (mobile) exhibition under the name (The Mobile Exhibition of the General Directory of Arab Countries) in 1962, which was held first in Aleppo, then in Jerusalem, Nablus, and most Palestinian cities. His publications include "Ad-Dalil al-Aam lil-Bilad al-Arabiyya"(The General Guide to the Arab Countries), which was translated into English and French, and "Ad-Diaya al-Arabiyya wa Athariha" (Arab Propaganda and its Impact), which was published in 1965.
