Born in Yafa, Salwa Haddad Anqoud began her work as a broadcaster during the 1950s at al-Quds Radio in Ramallah. She relocated to Amman after getting married in the 1980s. She returned to Palestine in the early 1990s.

Considered one of the family album collections at the Palestinian Museum, the Salwa Haddad Anqoud Collection includes five photographs of Salwa Haddad; three photographs were taken during her work at al-Quds Radio and the two others are family photographs.
