The Anton Albina Collection contains several photographs taken by Yousef Albina, a Jerusalemite photographer who worked at the Palestinian Museum of Antiquities "Rockefeller" in the 1930s with his relative, photographer Najeeb Albina, and co-owned a photography studio located in the Jaffa Gatewith Najeeb. In the 1930s, the two photographers Albina established a cinema in Jerusalem, which was called Rex Cinema. Albina was interested in photographing the holy places in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Jericho, as the collection presents a sample of the photographs taken by him of religious and archaeological sites in Palestine in the 1930s and 1950s, some of which bear the name and address of the photographer, and others bear the seal of the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism.
A few of these photographs are of Anton Albina, the Jerusalemite member of the Jordanian Parliament, who was a cousin of the photographer Yousef Albina.
