BIOGRAPHY

Fuad Qasem Abderrahman Abdel-Hadi was born in Nablus in 1885 and was a resident of the village of Arraba, located in Jenin District. He married Zahr Kurdeyyeh, who was born in Yafa in 1913, and they had eight children. He also worked in land trade and was a member of the Jenin Municipality, before he died in 1968.

DESCRIPTION

The Fuad Abdel-Hadi Collection, which is kept by his son, No'man, contains several personal photographs and family documents. These documents include a debt book belonging to a shop in the village of Arraba, located in Jenin District, in which he began entering figures in the 1920s, in addition to Fuad's middle school certificate issued in 1903, family letters and letters from Barclays Bank.
The collection also includes issues of "ad-Difaa'" and "al-Jami'a al-Islamiyya" newspapers, publications on farming methods, one of which is in the Ottoman language, powers of attorneys for selling land, contracts, contract bonds, certificates registering lands, financial receipts, and obituary telegrams of Fuad's death in 1968.
