Al-Murabitat Charitable Society is a charitable community-based organization founded in 1960 in Qalqilya and aims to provide services to women, children and people with special needs in the city. The Society is based on several goals, including charitable work which focuses on providing the necessary services and assistance to impoverished families and needy orphans. It provides services in education, as it established a kindergarten and a nursery affiliated with it, in addition to providing rehabilitation and training services for women in the fields of beauty, sewing and the art of clothing design. It takes care of people with special needs by caring for children with hearing disabilities and opening a clinic to treat hearing and speech problems.

The al-Murabitat Charitable Society (MCS) Collection contains MCS' documents and files on all its activities from 1960 to 2016, and includes the minutes of its meetings, names of the Administrative Board and its members during the years of its work, internal and external correspondence of the MCS, invoices and financial assets, files of courses and activities, tender files, invitations and congratulations, names of students who enrolled at MCS's sections such as kindergarten, nursery, and the deaf and mute section.
