Naif Saleh Saleem Sweid was born in 1935 in the village of Buqei'a, located in Akka District. He was in the sixth grade of elementary school when the schools were closed in 1947 due to the 1948 Nakba, making him unable to continue his education. He worked as a journalist in al-Ghad Magazine, which was published in Haifa, then in the field of journalism independently. He spent his life, fighting in the ranks of the Communist Party, and was a member of the local council for many years. He published his poems in the newspapers of the Communist Party and has a collection of poetry and books.
