Born in 1964 in Jenin district, Tawfiq Jarrar is an electrical engineer who completed his studies at Birzeit University in the early 1990s. He was subjected to a short house arrest because of his affiliation with leftist parties and engagement in political student activism.

The Collection of Tawfiq Jarrar, a resident of Burqin in Jenin district, includes land ownership documents for plots of land in Jenin dating back to the Ottoman period, a birth certificate issued in 1903, in addition to a paper from an accounts book of a shop during the 1930s.
