The Shaheed Mohammad Abu ʿaker Reception in Dheisheh Refugee Camp
Taken in the late 1980s, this colour photograph features the reception held by the people of Dheisheh Refugee Camp upon the shaheed Mohammad Abu ʿaker's return after his treatment at al-Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem. It's said that the Israeli Occupation Forces surrounded the area to end the celebration.
