Majida al-Masry in Beit Iksa
Taken on 13 January 2013, this colour photograph shows Majida al-Masry, a politburo member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), at a non-violent sit-in near Bait Iksa. This non-violent action ushered in a new non-violent resistance by setting up Bab Shams and Bab al-Karama tented villages in the face of the Israeli colonial plans between al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Ma'ale Adumim colony.
