A Sign Pointing Towards Jaffa Street

A black-and-white photograph featuring a sign pointing towards the gate of Jaffa, which is originally known for (Bab al-Khalil), which is one of Jerusalem's stone wall gates. The name Jaffa Gate was given by foreign travelers, the sign was written in three languages Arabic, Hebrew, and English. It is worth mentioning that Emile Ashrawi intended to capture the street signs to document how the Israeli Occupation Authorities intentionally distorted the Arabic Language.
