A photograph of Fayza Kanafani's Children, Lamis and Usama Nijem, 1961
A black-and-white photograph, taken in 1961, shows Lamis and Usama Nijem, the children of Fayza Kanafany. About a decade later, Lamis was killed in the Mossad-plotted assassination of her uncle the Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafany.
