"The Turbulent House", Adapted Play, George Ibrahim, al-Kasaba
Taken in 1970, this black-and-white photograph captures a freeze of the Syrian playwright, Walid al-Madfaʿy's "The Turbulent House". Adapted and directed by George Ibrahim, this play featured a cast, including, Bassam Zuʿmut, George Ibrahim, Jackie Ayyoub, Marline Bejaly, Khalil al-Khalidy, Siham Ghazala, and Jamal Saʿid. The play was performed at al-ʿumariyah Theatre in al-Quds (Jerusalem), Hebron, and other cities in the occupied West Bank.
