Misbáh Ahmad aged 19; from Qarawat Bani Zaid northwest of Ramallah, in his dorm in al-Fakhani village during his studies at the Arab University of Beirut. His letter on the back of the photo reads "A letter from Misbáh Ahmad to his mother "My Mother", I looked for a smile but couldn't find it, I tried to fake it and it was pale. Being afar hurts me".
