Engineer Hasan Hilmy with his wife, his son Kamal, and his daughter Yusra. He worked in the Department of Works during the Ottoman and British rule of Palestine. In the late 1930s, he shot an English Officer and committed suicide shortly after. Hilmy was one of the first engineers to construct the main road network in Palestine
