"The Game of Love and Chance", a Photograph of a Theatrical Performance, 1970
A photograph of al-Kasaba Theatre and Cinematheque's play, "al-'Aris aẓ-Ẓarif" (the Handsome Groom) in 1970. Adapted by George Ibrahim from Pierre de Marivaux's play, "Le Jeu de l'amour et du hasard" (The Game of Love and Chance) and directed by Antoine Ṣaleh, this play also ran at al-Omariya Theatre and Saint George Theatre in al-Quds (Jerusalem), featuring a cast of Palestinian actors, including Ibrahim, Bassam Zuʿmut, Jackie Ayyub, Khalil al-Khaldy, and Makram Khury.
