Dated 1960, this black-and-white photograph shows six pupils at Rawdat el-Zuhur School in al-Quds (Jerusalem) performing Dabke under the care of Jerusalemite teacher Elizabeth Naṣer. In 1952, a few years in the aftermath of the Nakba, Naṣer started the school as a shelter home, catered to Palestinian destitute girls.
