A Photograph from "The Little March Girl" Adapted Theatrical Performance, by Inad 1998

A colour photograph from Inad Theatre’s adaptation of Danish poet and author Hans Christian Andersen's "Den Lille Pige med Svovlstikkerne" (The Little Match Girl) in 1998. Produced at Inad Studio in Bayt Jala under Samya abu Hammoud’s management, the play premiered under the direction of Raʾida Ghazaleh and ran its second production under Khaled al-Maṣu. The music was composed by Muṣtafa al-Kurd at Mega Studio in Ramallah and rearranged by Adel Atallah. "The Little Match Girl" featured a cast of actors including, Abir, Emilia, and Khalid al-Maṣu, Emile Metri, Hazem al-Azza, Hazem ash-Sharif, Jamil Hilmy, Muhammad abu Laban, Muhanad Mhanna, Nicola Ziranyeh, Ra’fat Lafy, Ruba Bardawil, Saʿid Zarzar, Ṣuhayb abu Gharbiyye, and Yasmin Hammar. In 2004, the show received the best actor award for Nicola Ziranyeh at the Jordan Arab Children's Theatre Festival; four years later, the show toured Germany.
