A Sale Deed of Ijbaib Well to Abdul-Qader Irshaid
A sale deed of the Ijbaib well in Dayr Aban village signed by Ahmad Sulayman to Abdul-Qader Irshaid. The document states that the well was sold for ten Egyptian pounds. Next to the sale deed is another document dated June 1936. The document is a legal tribal instrument on a conflict over the borders of a piece of land between an-Nhayyir valley and the Dayr Aban Mosque settled by the arbitration of a selected group. The conflict was between Abdul-Qader Irshaid and Ibrahim Hasan Hammad and any party that violated the arbiters' binding decision will be fined twenty Palestine pounds that will go to the government's fund.
