A black-and-white photograph of Edwar Moʿallem sitting on the seat of an out of order toilet during the renovation works at al-Nuzha Theatre. This theatre was constructed in 1950 and was burned down twice, in 1967 and 1979. In 1983, al-Hakawati team, including François abu Salem, Jackie Lubeck, Edwar Moʿallem,Amer Khalil, Ibrahim Khalayla, Rady Shhada, Imad Mitwally, and Imad Samara arrived at the charred scene and renovated it to become the seat of al-Hakawati Theatre.
