A black-and-white photograph of Edwar Moʿallem working on the renovation of al-Nuzha Theatre. This theatre was constructed in 1950 and was burned down twice, in 1967 and 1979. In 1983, al-Hakawati team, including François abu Salem, Jackie Lubeck, Edwar Moʿallem,Amer Khalil, Ibrahim Khalayla, Rady Shhada, Imad Mitwally, and Imad Samara arrived at the charred scene and renovated it over the course of six months to become the seat of al-Hakawati Theatre.
