The Seven Qira'at of the Qur'an
Handwritten in the 1900s by Ibrahim al-Khatib, Sakher Khatib's grandfather, this paper clipping shows the seven reciters of the Quran, namely, ʿabdallah ibn Kathir, ʿaṣim ibn abi an-Njud, ʿabdallah bin ʿamer, Yazid bin al-Qaʿqaʿ, Hamza ibn Habib az-Zayat, Abu ʿamr bin al-ʿalaʿ al-Baṣari, and Nafiʿ bin ʿabder-Rahman.
