The Deed of the Sale by Saleh and Jaber al-Awwad along with Their Aunts Sabha and Nasra al-Awwad of a "Plot of Land" in Ya'bad Village to Mahmoud an-Nofal, 10 September 1906

Handwritten on 21 Rajab 1324 ِAH, corresponding to 10 September 1906, this document shows the deed of the sale of a "plot of land", that was located in Ya'bad village and occupied an area eight Qirats, by Saleh and Jaber al-Awwad along with their aunts Sabha and Nasra al-Awwad to Mahmoud an-Nofal, for 60 Majidi Piaster "Majidi Riyal", with one Riyal equivalent to 25 piasters, which were paid by the buyers to the seller at the Sale Council, where the sale deed was drafted in the presence of Sheikh Nasser al-Khaldi. The deed included a written declaration, dated 15 Jumada al-Thani 1326, corresponding to 13 July 1908, of the validity of the sale by Fatima al-Awwad, who got married to a villager of as-Sindiyana and authorized her sisters, Nasra and Sabha, to sell her share of the land, in addition to another written declaration, dated 1 Ramadan 1331 AH, corresponding to 3 August 1913, by Um as-Saud al-Awwad, Mohammad al-Awwad's wife, of the sale validity and an authorization by her to her sons to execute the sale.
