Issue 222 of the Attali'ah Weekly, 3 June 1982

Published on 3 June 1982, this document shows issue 222 of the Attali'ah Weekly, whose editor-in-chief was Bashir al-Barghouthi and which was printed at the Salah ad-Din Press in Jerusalem. This issue contained numerous subjects, including the attempts to bring the pro-US Arabs, Turkey and Pakistan together in an alliance similar to the "Baghdad Pact", the ongoing home demolitions and displacement of residents in Rafah, the demolitions of the homes and displacement of the residents of the as-Sweidi Camp, in addition to a news item on the two-year anniversary of the assassination attempt of the mayors of Nablus, Ramallah and al-Bireh (Bassam Shaka'a, Karim Khalaf and Ibrahim at-Tawil). It also contained several political, economic and social news, and dedicated a section for sports and arts news.
